Ordering and Delivery Process
Orders can be placed via our internet website www.thekitchendoorstudio.co.uk. By selecting the correct size, style, colour and drilling option. Items selected can be removed from your shopping cart at any time during the order process.
Alternatively you can place an order Via email at email@example.com or via phone 01322 686011 (if order placed by phone we will email a quotation for the buyer to confirm before order will be confirmed).
The buyer is responsible for checking the accuracy of all sizes and measurements on any quotation.
When the buyer places an order with The Kitchen Door Studio, they are making an offer to purchase goods. We will send you an email to confirm that we have received your order.
In the event that goods ordered are no longer available we will contact you to inform you that there is no contract.
We have used images supplied by our manufactures and every effort has been made to insure these are as near to the actual product however we can not guarantee display on your computer screen.
Your Contract with The Kitchen Door Studio is in accordance with UK consumer law.
We endeavour to make sure product images and descriptions are as accurate as possible.
When placing an order with The Kitchen Door Studio you will be required to agreed to these terms and conditions.
It is the buyer’s responsibility to make sure that the goods being purchased are correct for the purpose they are intended.
All goods must be paid for in full at the point of purchase.
Carriage charges if applicable will be itemised in the shopping cart before you complete your purchase.
All Prices shown are in pound sterling and are inclusive of VAT.
Once your order has been placed it may not be possible to make changes and if possible, extra charges may apply.
We will notify you of the estimated dispatch date as soon as possible after receiving your order.
Dispatch date is only a guide and could be due to change, we endeavour to dispatch all goods together but in some circumstances this may not be possible. In these case’s we will inform you of all dispatch dates.
We endeavour to deliver goods within 2 days of dispatch date.
We can only deliver to mainland UK addresses.
All deliveries will need to be signed for and can only be delivered to the address given at point of order.
Deliveries will be made during working hours Monday to Friday.
We will not accept responsibility for any loss or damage to goods left unattended by customer instructions to the delivery company or not signed for.
Delivery is kerbside only, so you will be required to help take delivery into your property and it is your responsibility to notify The Kitchen Door Studio of any special access requirements.
Undelivered goods may be returned to the factory which will incur a charge for re-delivery.
Please check all packaging for signs of damage and notify the delivery driver of any missing or damaged packages. You should also notify The Kitchen Door Studio of any damage within 2 days of delivery.
Our Delivery Drivers will only deliver to a ground floor entrance any upper floors are to be carried by the customer.
We will not be liable for any loss due to our delivery driver not being able to deliver for whatever reason.
Cancellations and Returns
It is not possible to cancel any products that have been made to order or have any drillings for hinge holes.
Cancellation can be made up to 14 days from the date of delivery on products that have not been custom made or drilled. Any cancellation must be made in writing via email to firstname.lastname@example.org
This Policy does not apply to any goods to be supplied to businesses as this is exempt from the distance selling regulations or due to the custom manufacture are also exempt from these regulations.
Any goods to be returned must be in the original packaging and adequately sealed to prevent and damage being caused. We will specify the delivery address for returns.
Returns must be made within 14 days of the date of cancellation.
No goods will be accepted for return after installation unless faulty.
Any damage incurred to returned goods will be charged.
The buyer is responsible for any carriage charges relating to returns unless goods are deemed to be faulty.
We will refund any money due to be paid back within 30 days of receipt of goods by ourselves or parties working on our behalf.
We deem any goods that have been fitted to have been accepted by the customer as not damaged and of correct size and style.
We will not be liable for any fees for fitters or any other professional or any loss of earnings due to late or missed deliveries or missing goods.
We reserve the right to refuse replacement of any damaged products that have not been reported to us within 2 days of delivery.
Our Cancellation policy does not affect your statutory rights.
We Guarantee our products in line with the manufactures guidance and product guarantees are described in product descriptions. This guarantee is in addition to your legal rights as a consumer.
In the event that there is a problem with a product please contact us via email email@example.com and provide digital photography so that we can asses the matter within the shortest possible time. Your legal rights are not affected.
Should we need to arrange a replacement of any product we will action this without unreasonable delays and there will be no cost to the customer. No replacement will be possible until we have received photographic evidence or the faulty products for inspection.
We will not cover postage costs for products returned to us that are not faulty however any reasonable postage costs will be refunded to the customer should the products be deemed to be faulty.
Any item that could come into contact with water or steam from sink, washing machine, dishwasher or kettle should be adequately protected to stop material detiration.
Any items that could come in contact with source of heat should be protected by heat deflectors or other suitable protection to avoid damage to the product.
We will replace goods that are deemed to be faulty free of charge at our discretion we may require the return of products before replacement.
We will replace any faulty product with a colour as near to match the faulty product however should colour no longer be available, we will offer a replacement as near to the colour or a refund for the product we can not guarantee exact match.
Installation of replacement product is the responsibility of the customer and disposal of the original product unless returned to us is the responsibility of the customer.
We will not be liable for any loss due to costs of installation and the customer should not book installation until the products have been delivered and inspected.
All our products conform to design regulations current to UK regulation.
